History

Astralwerks Engineering is one of the leading item production companies in the galaxy, with facilities spread across it to better service our customers’ needs. AE has been around for quite some time, and has changed hands on several occasions.

Astralwerks Engineering used to be a member of the Dyna Corp Family. It originally stood alone as a single entity. After being purchased by Isoldor Storm, the company was reformatted to better utilize its expansive entities and widespread assets. A complete revamp of everything from how things ran to key personnel such as the President and Vice President to engineers themselves was reworked during this time of great reform. The new leader, Starenska Enoya, aided Isoldor in turn the company around from being a simple faction mainly dedicated to transport services to being a prosperous, item-producing member of the Dyna Corp Community.

After purchasing the faction and updating it from its previously stagnant state, Isoldor had to sell off the mighty company for reasons he keeps to himself. He made sure, however, that he didn’t sell it to the wrong person, knowing how much potential the faction had. Isoldor promptly sold off the company to his brother, Dantius. With Dantius’ purchase, the company has grown to new heights. Now, Astralwerks has mainly focused its operations to the Joiol system in the Orus sector, where new construction facilities and a totally revamped research and development area are being constructed.

With the renewal of one of the most prosperous companies ever comes great responsibility, which Dantius and the people serving under him and alongside him have willingly put on their shoulders. And with such a huge reworking of our system comes promise… promise that Astralwerks Engineering will provide the galaxy with the best navigation, survival, and technological items imaginable. So if you’re ever in need of any kind of item, let us know. We’re always willing to help our customers out in any way we possibly can whether it be items, transport, intelligence, or sales of miscellaneous things.

In mid-Year 10, the New Republic announced it's Governmental Plan to stream line their Industrial Might of Nationalized Companies. This meant that Toskan Industries and Astralwerks Engineering had to begin to coordinate a way to merge the two very successful Production Corporations into one. Shaun Lightforce former Chief Executive Officer of Toskan Industries sent personnel from TI to AE immediately upon the release of the plan, so Astralwerks could begin to revise a way to make the two companies mesh comfortably. Former Astralwerks CEO Kaitlyn Elensar was incomparable in the way she made the new members feel welcome.

Finally on Year 10, Day 175, Toskan Industries finalized the merger with Astralwerks Engineering, both coming to a mutual agreement upon keeping the Astralwerks name. The Cheif Council was established, as new Departments emerged to help in building and maintaining Astralwerks. The Chief Council, consists of the CEO, CAO, Chief of Mining, Chief of Development, Chief of Production, Chief Personnel Officer Chief of Logistics and the Chief of Security These eight individuals have a guiding hand in what will become of this renewed and compounded Production Corporation giant.

Together CEO Lightforce, CAO Elensar and the other members of the Chief Council have worked hard after the merger to make sure that it did not interfere with the many orders that both Astralwerks and Toskan had accumulated. The Chief Council of Astralwerks guaranteed the speedy processing and delivering of orders that had been filed previously to the merger. All other orders will be filled as soon as possible.

Not long after the formation of the Chief Council and the merger of Tosken Industries, Kaitlyn's hot head got her fired from her position as CAO. After a short time past with no 2IC, Chief of Development Serli Sarn was promoted to take the 2IC. Shaun and Serli worked together to get production back online, however, the projects that Kaitlyn had laid in place were taking up many assets of AE and production fell behind. CEO Lightforce and CAO Sarn made the final decision to close public sales. After closing the public sales, the Chief Council tryed to figure which departments were unneccessary and taking up the many people that could be instead, directed to Production. While the Chief Council worked feverishly to cut AE's dieing tails, Chief of Production Gothar Haerdwyn commited sucide, leaving the Production department in a frenzy. With a final agreement of Chief of Prospecting Raven Morrow, the Mining/Prospecting department was closed. Chief of Prospecting Morrow, was transferred as head of Production.
