Private Sector Companies

New Republic citizens may own, operate, and join privately-owned factions or non-faction groups and retain New Republic citizenship provided that all group members are New Republic citizens.

In the case of non-faction groups, members must be in a New Republic-affiliated or owned faction.

Such members shall retain access to New Republic citizen areas of the Communications Center and voting rights.

Such factions shall clearly state that they are privately owned and New Republic-affiliated.

Such factions may sell goods and services to non-enemies of the New Republic at prices of their own determination.

Other factions may apply to the Senate to become New Republic-affiliated factions provided they will meet all the above requirements.

The Director of CRI shall retain final membership approval for those seeking to join New Republic-affiliated factions.

A PSA may be removed upon the recommendation of the Director of CRI, Chief of State, and/or the High Ambassador via an up or down vote from the Senate. This vote requires a simple majority (51%) to pass. At this point, all members of the PSA in question will be stripped of their rights as NR citizens, and any public official with no other ties to the NR has 1 week to resign from either their elected position or the leave PSA in question, at which point they will no longer hold that position, and a replacement will be found as per the laws concerning that elected office.
